Having coached and played for clubs in front of 20, 000 – 40, 000 people in CONCACAF region with the El Slavador National Football Team, Chalatenango FC, Metapan FC and Universidad. Having reached finals and being crowned premiers in the Brisbane Region as a head coach.
Season Goal:
To develop the players for the next level of football through commitment, discipline, respect and determination according to the expectations of Olympic FC.
About Reymundo:
Reymundo has been on the football scene for numerous decades, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Olympic FC. After 10 years playing as a professional first division player and finishing a Bachelor of Marketing in the Catholic University, Reymundo became a coach in 1990, completing Class C, B and A Licences by 1993. Reymundo also completed a Diploma of Physical Education and Sports in 1991 as well as attending numerous workshops headed by European and South American Coaches. From 1991 – 1996, Reymundo was involved with the preparation of National Football Referees for the first and second divisions, along with working as the assistant coach and technical adviser of the El Salvador National Football Team.
In 1997, Reymundo relocated to Australia where he was associated Rochedale Rovers FC in junior football development and youth coach. Having been runner up and premier on numerous occasions, Reymundo made the move to Wynnum Wolves FC in 2010 where he endured similar success. 2015 saw Reymundo join the University of Queensland as assistant coach of the Senior BPL team before making the switch to Olympic FC in 2016.
From 2003 – 2016, Reymundo was involved as development coach in numerous schools across Brisbane such as; John Paul College, Churchie Grammar, Villanova College, Saint Joseph College and numerous after school programs.
Reymundo displays fantastic enthusiasm and passion for football following numerous years of experience around the globe. Reymundo holds high expectations of his team and believes in the proper development of players to reach the next level in Australia.
