On behalf of the Olympic committee, sponsors and members, I proudly announce the appointment of Jim Bellas as the new Head Coach of Olympic FC.

Jim ( known by many around Brisbane Football by his nickname DIXIE ), has been associated with the club since 1981, playing State League with the Yeronga based side at the age of 15. Jim has represented the club admirably as a player for over 20 years and now a coach for the past 8 years. Jim was the understudy to both Juan Cutilas and Bobby Hamilton for the past 8 years and the club believes that Jim has the necessary experience and expertise to take the club further forward in the years to come. Jim will be assisted by good friend and playing partner Graham Wilson. Jim’s appointment will be for the remainder of the 2010 season and the entire of the 2011 Brisbane Premier League season.
