Olympic FC are happy to reveal another new signing, Taj Suffolk, to the senior NPL squad for the 2018 season.

Suffolk joins us from Noosa Lions, where he has been mentored by a coach many NPL fans may be familiar with, Kevin A’Herne Evans. In his time under Evans, Suffolk played an integral role in the most miserly defensive unit of the Sunshine Coast Premier League, a goal he will be sure to aim for with Olympic FC.

Our Head Coach, Ben Cahn, has the following to say about the tall defender:

“Taj is a top young talent. He’s physically very strong and quick, he’s a smart footballer with great communication skills.

He had a very good year with Noosa Lions winning the Sunshine Coast Premier League where he was also part of the backline that had best defensive record in the competition. He was lucky to have worked with Kevin Evans who has helped him mature and develop on and off the pitch into a really strong player.

His enthusiasm and desire to succeed will be great for our environment. I look forward to seeing him become an important part of our squad and our success.”

Welcome to the club Taj!
