The penultimate round of the Women’s National Premier League sees Olympic FC travel down the M1 to face off with Gold Coast City’s Senior Women at Duncan McKenna Field on Sunday 13th August at 2:00pm.

The fixture sees 7th vs 8th on the PS4WNPL ladder and with neither side able to qualify for this seasons finals, the match will see both sides play open, attacking football throughout the 90 minutes. Both sides will be fresh having not played for two weeks, allowing for the match to be a fast contest. This style will suit Olympic who have an exceptionally fast and technically gifted midfield who like playing forward and running at opposition defence lines. Expect the match to be played in this fashion as both sides look to turn it on for their fans on Sunday afternoon.

In-form midfielders Liz Doherty and Teani Karalouka, will both look to get their name on the scoresheet with both girls currently sitting on four goals for the season, having played 12 and 13 game respectively this year. Both girls will be looking to add to their tally and finish the season on a positive note, after a tough start to the year resulted in Olympic languishing towards the bottom of the table.

Both sides will be looking to finish the season strongly and show their supporters what they are capable of producing.
