Thursday night sees Olympic FC host a catch up fixture from Round 4 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League Queensland with Moreton Bay United at Goodwin Park at 7pm.

A resilient 3-2 victory against Brisbane City FC on Friday night has put Olympic FC in a commanding position on the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland ladder, sitting second to Gold Coast City FC by one competition point with a game in hand.

Six wins from seven matches and 22 goals for has Olympic FC full of confidence as they head into Thursday’s nights fixture with Moreton Bay.

Head coach, Terry Kirkham, says his side will be ready as he prepares to face off with his former side, Moreton Bay United:

“We have been playing exciting football and other teams have to lift their tempo to play us. I know Adam Piddick will have his side well organised to play us and they will be coming to Olympic to defeat us at home. It’s a big game.”

Matt Heath has been in tremendous form for Olympic FC and sits on top of the goal scorers tally with 13 goals, 7 higher than his nearest competition, Carter Glockner. Heath will look to improve on this tally on Thursday night against a Moreton Bay outfit who sit in 5th position on the PS4 NPL QLD ladder.

Tom Carroll has also been instrumental for Olympic FC with the shot-stopper making numerous match defining saves, including a penalty save last weekend against Brisbane City. With the game well poised in the 76th minute, Carroll made a remarkable down-low save to reject Glockner’s effort and help claim all three points for Olympic.
