Olympic FC’s NPL program is excited to present a five-day girls clinic led by FIFA Technical Instructor Carolina Morace starting 29 September.
Morace will be joined at Goodwin Park by former Perth Glory W-League coach Nicola Williams as the highly-qualified duo give girls of all abilities aged 9-17 the chance to experience world class coaching.
The clinic will focus on individual technique, player and team tactics, female-specific physical preparation and development, and tailor-made discovery and training games for juniors and youth footballers.
With their Academy based in Perth, Morace and Williams have compiled CVs matched by few others in women’s football.
Morace scored an incredible 105 goals for the Italian women’s national team after debuting in 1978 and has since gone on to coach both Italy and the Canadian women’s national team, before becoming a FIFA World Ambassador for Women’s Football and FIFA Technical Instructor.
In 1999 she made football history by becoming the first woman to coach a men’s professional football team, Viterbese.
Williams who led Perth Glory’s women in their inaugural W-League season in 2008, is also a former head coach of the Australian U13 Girls team and assistant coach of the Young Matildas.
